The Plug, Swae Lee And Stefflon Don Release Single: Run Through

RUN THROUGH’ is the glorious new single from Amsterdam-based British creative entrepreneur and cultural connector JACK ‘THE PLUG’ EDJOURIAN featuring multi-platinum selling Billboard charting US rap superstar SWAE LEE, and MOBO Award-winning UK rap sensation STEFFLON DON.

Co-produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Diego Ave (Megan Thee Stallion, Future, Post Malone), LJay Currie (Drake, Machine Gun Kelly), and Anton Kuhl Jorgensen (Chloe x Halle, Doja Cat), the infectious hip-hop/R&B fusion track is the lead single and precursor to The Plug’s long-awaited and highly anticipated Plug Talk 2 album, which is set for release on October 20.

‘Run Through’ bridges the iconic Southern Rap nuances that Swae Lee brings to the table, with the unmistakable London essence of Stefflon Don, with both artists crafting a stellar rapsung collaboration that steals the show.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Run Through’ and how the track came about, Jack ‘The Plug’ Edjourian says,

“The collaboration was not just about bringing two artists together, but crafting a sound that resonates with listeners. This track is undoubtedly one of my top picks from the album. Collaborating with these incredible talents has been a rewarding experience. As we prepare for the full album release, I’m genuinely thrilled for listeners to dive into ‘Plug Talks 2‘.”

After spending five weeks in the UK Official Top 40 Album Chart with his debut album Plug Talk, which birthed ground-breaking hit tracks such as UK Top 20 single ‘How It Is’ featuring Roddy Ricch, Chip, and Yxng Bane, ‘Broken Homes’ with Nafe Smallz, M Huncho, and Gunna, as well as ‘Rich’ featuring D-Block Europe and Offset, while garnering over 300 million global streams, The Plug is excited to reveal the music that he has been working on over the past few years, starting with ‘Run Through’ featuring Swae Lee and Stefflon Don on September 29, before sharing the Plug Talk 2 album on October 20, both via his own record label The Plug Records.

Emerging from the eclectic backdrop of North London’s Southgate suburban area, Jack ‘The Plug’ Edjourian has seamlessly intertwined his passion for music with a keen business acumen, to become one of the UK’s most sought-after creative entrepreneurs and cultural connectors. Initiated into the world of music as an adolescent by DJing at his father’s nightclub Castles, Jack’s early soundscapes were influenced by everything, from hip-hop, rap, and grime, to old skool garage, drum & bass, and jungle. This musical evolution, coupled with his Greek heritage and London’s multicultural ethos, created a foundation for his unique approach to the music and creative industries.

Jack’s entrepreneurial flair manifested when he merged his love for music, fashion, and culture, with his growing interest in the burgeoning global medicinal and recreational marijuana market. The result was The Plug, an avant-garde brand that exploded to include a chain of ten dispensaries and stores selling limited-edition merchandise. From Barcelona and Amsterdam to London and California, The Plug became a magnet for celebrities, drawing the likes of Post Malone, Jason Derulo, Roddy Ricch, Lil Pump, and other industry titans. This wasn’t merely a business for Jack; it was a testament to his vision of merging music, culture, and lifestyle in a symbiotic relationship.

Yet, business was just one facet of his ambition. With an eye for making international music connections, Jack founded The Plug Records to curate and showcase collaborations that transcended borders, with his debut album Plug Talk setting the stage. Led by the likes of Roddy Ricch, D-Block Europe, Gunna, Nines, Blade Brown, and Lil Baby, the chart and streaming success of the Plug Talk album was a testament to his foresight. As Jack continues to shape and influence music culture, fans eagerly await his next venture Plug Talk 2. Arriving this autumn, the album is a reflection not just of his music evolution, but of Jack’s commitment to innovation and artistic exploration.
