The Sea City In Isolation
As lockdown hit the UK, I wanted the ability to document Plymouth in isolation. I didn’t want just photos of the city centre though, where we all know is empty. It’s not a shock anymore. Instead, I wanted to show the beauty everyone else misses. Only armed with my 70D, and with a toddler in tow, I decided to take rare morning walks for exercise and take a few photos along the way, exhibiting my city and what it looks like.
Plymouth is a city that is so close to the sea, I am thankful that I am only a 20 second walk from the water. Being able to document the beauty in isolation is something I think we can all try to do. Being a creative is wonderful, but being able to show the world off in new ways, that’s what makes you feel good. – Tamara Raw
