The device now offers more than double the temperature settings of its predecessor, with several presets created specifically for wax.

The Arc GT4 is extremely versatile, so using the device will vary slightly depending on the type of session you’re aiming for. Still, the GT4 follows a simple process regardless of whether you use the chamber directly, the ArcPods, or the Wax Pods.

• Fill the chamber: Load the chamber with herbs or an ArcPod.
• Power on the device: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The LED interface will light up, and a vibration will confirm that the device has turned on.
• Select your temperature: By default, the GT4 starts in Herb Mode. Press the button once to cycle through the different temperature levels.
• Heat up: The device begins heating immediately. Pulsing LEDs indicate progress, and after about 35 seconds, a solid light paired with a vibration signals it’s ready to use.
• Inhale: Draw slowly through the mouthpiece until vapor production tapers off.
• Power off: Press and hold the button for 2 seconds. A vibration confirms shutdown, and the LEDs turn off.

Tips for different types of loading:

• Direct Loading: Fill the chamber with up to 0.3 g of dry herb, tamp lightly, and proceed with the standard steps (power on, select temperature, heat, inhale). Keep the Flow Sink in place for this method. This method will provide the most amount of vapor since the chamber is in direct contact with the herbs.
• Dry Herb ArcPods: Use these pods for convenience, as each holds the perfect herb amount. The Xtruder auto-packs them for consistent airflow and time-saving. Place the filled pod in the chamber, but remove the Flow Sink to reduce the restrictiveness of airflow and tight draws.
• Wax Pods: Load 0.2–0.3 g of concentrate into the pod, insert it into the chamber, and choose a higher temperature preset for wax. Remove the Flow Sink to ensure proper airflow and smoother vapor. This method contains concentrates and simplifies cleanup. Its also essential to consider that between hits, you want to pause for 6 to 7 seconds to allow the Wax to get heated properly. This will ensure you’re getting the most out of your concentrate and is a tradeoff of the Compact form factor paired with the convenience of the dual-use pods.
