FEMMEHOUSE founder, synth warrior goddess, pianist, fashionista, DJ, and producer LP Giobbi just released her new single, Dejala Pasar on her own FEMMEHOUSE banner via Sofi Tukker and LP’s collective Animal Talk.
Dejala Pasar is a journey through uplifting vocal samples, melodic piano and tantalizing synths married together with punchy percussion and a pulsing bass line–the perfect intersection of the darkness of tech house and the brightness of world music. There’s even a bit of a 90’s disco flavor. Diplo is just one of her fans and recently premiered her new continuous mix on Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM. When she’s not in the studio collaborating or producing, she books music for the summer series at Hollywood’s W hotel with a focus on womxn, and this week she’s launching FEMMEHOUSE, which she created out of the need for more representation for womxn identified acts. Its’ mission is to create opportunities and to make electronic music more inclusive and provide meaningful opportunities for all and the LGBTQ+ community.
