This series features a gold Filipiniana terno by designer Josip Tumapa. The dress keeps the recognizable butterfly sleeves of traditional Filipino formalwear while presenting them through a modern evening gown silhouette.

The look is built around shape and proportion rather than heavy ornament. The fitted bodice, wide sleeves, and full-length skirt create a strong formal presence, while the gold fabric gives the design a ceremonial character suited for pageants, stage presentations, and cultural events.

The photographs focus on the dress as a complete look: the front silhouette, sleeve construction, fabric surface, and the way the shape frames the model. Together, the images show how Filipiniana elements can continue to appear in contemporary fashion while remaining visually recognizable.
