Americans With High Awareness Of AI Are Almost Two Times As Excited Than Those With Low Awareness

AI is becoming increasingly integrated into all aspects of our lives, and whilst some are embracing the technological advancements — others resent the changes or are not even aware of its presence and abilities.
BanklessTimes.com investigated the attitudes towards AI among Americans and explored whether awareness of AI in everyday activities plays a role in determining this attitude.
Key Findings
- 38% of Americans are more concerned than excited about the growing usage of AI in their lives.
- In comparison 15% are more excited than they are worried.
- 46% are equally enthused and concerned about the increasing presence of AI.
- Those with high awareness (21%) of AI are almost two times more excited than those with low awareness (12%).
- 4 in 10 individuals with low awareness of AI are more cautious than excited in comparison to 3 in 10 with high awareness.
- More than half of Americans (59%) and Brits (61%) believe AI will play a central role in our lives in the future.
- Although the vast majority of Americans (73%) and Brits (66%) feel the need to observe its development to ensure it doesn’t get out of control.
