Clean air is critical for health and wellness, but only seven U.S. cities made the cut.
May is Clean Air Awareness Month, so the team at SafeWise.com analyzed which cities in the U.S. have the cleanest air. Only seven cities made the list.
The seven cities are — Asheville, North Carolina; Bangor, Maine; Greenville, North Carolina; Lincoln, Nebraska; Rochester, New York; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Wilmington, North Carolina.
To make the list, a city must experience no high ozone or particle pollution days and rank among the 25 cities with the lowest year-round particle pollution levels, and your city is one of seven that meets that criteria.
