Beauty Queen Elise Stein Reveals Upcoming Single “High”
Being consumed by an effortless love is every romantic’s dream.
In her upcoming single “High”, 23-year-old R&B singer Elise Stein sings of the moment when nothing else matters but the way you feel about the one you love.
Be careful though, this song is so striking that you may fall for whomever happens to be nearby. From the breath-taking single cover aesthetics to the classic silky vocals, Stein stands out to every eye and ear.
The song starts out by entrancing the listener in ambient vocal harmonies wrapped in a classic R&B beat. She keeps the song relaxed, proving she knows her love is anything but complicated. With “High”, Elise brings fresh ears to the traditional aspects of the genre alongside the talent and musical ability of Beyoncé, H.E.R., and Ella Mai.
This R&B hit was written by Elise Stein, Ryan Rasmussen, Henry Greer, and Kelle Cates. Rasmussen is entering the next level of the production scene with this sexy single. The team created lyrics that tell a story by focusing on meaningful verbiage, instead of leaning heavily on rhymes. This style makes Stein a unique crowd-pleaser.
Elise says,
“This song is about finding love after being single for a long time. The single captures the butterflies and fireworks of this time and how you literally feel “High” from how happy you are with them.”
In only 23 years, Elise has accomplished much, from opening at Nashville’s Historic Exit/In for Raekwon from Wu-Tang Clan, all the way to being crowned Miss Chattanooga, a title which she currently holds. She uses her platforms to promote honorable causes such as anti-bullying efforts throughout schools in Tennessee.
Elise Stein brings back nostalgic feelings of butterflies in the stomach and SWV’s buckling knees in her newest single, “High.” Pre-save the single here to catch feelings this fall.
Nashville’s rising R&B Pop artist Elise Stein is a multi-talented performer, who adds spunk and sparkle to everything she touches. Her gifts to sing, dance, act, and write her own music give her cross-genre opportunities. She has been fortunate to perform some of her own music at local venues in Nashville including Exit-In, Belcourt Taps, and Skyway Studios.
Her creative abilities have landed her roles in several major artist music videos including Luke Bryan’s music video for “Light It Up” and with other powerhouse artists including Keith Urban, Walker Hayes, and Jason Aldean. She is also featured as a lifestyle and fitness model in Tim McGraw’s New York Times Best Seller book “Grit & Grace.” But R&B is her true passion, especially when performing.
Being molded by industry trailblazers like Mama Jan (Justin Beiber, Nicki Minaj), Nick Cooper (Beyonce, Khalid), and Larry Fridie (James Brown), Elise brings class with a little bit of sass to all her performances.
“Opening for Raekwon from the Wu-Tang Clan at Exit-In was such an honor and an amazing experience. I was nervous at first, but once I hit the stage and started singing some of my unreleased originals all the nerves went away. I can’t wait to be the headliner for my own tour one day,” said Elise.
Elise’s talents have taken her across stages of all kinds, performing for charity events including the Sickle Cell Foundation, the Miss America stage, the African Street Festival, and the Nashville Caribbean Carnival. In her work as the Miss Chattanooga Volunteer 2021 and previous pageants, she has taken the opportunity to go beyond music and raise money for Children’s Miracle Network. These efforts and her pageant work can be seen in People Magazine, Insider, and E! News.
As Miss Chattanooga Volunteer 2021, she took her own personal experiences with bullying and focused her platform on partnering with Move to Stand. She took the opportunity to visit Tennessee schools to help students embrace their differences and inform them about bullying through character education. Elise was named the Nashville brand ambassador for the International Bullying Prevention Association in 2017.
Elise is excited to explore the depths of her artistic creativity, release new music, and evolve with her fans.
