2022 Petrichor International Music Competition
Today marks the last day to submit application to the 2022 Petrichor International Music Competition.
12 Categories, 36 winners, 36 finalists, and $60,000 value in prizes! All participants receive the Complementary Course by iClassical Academy including lifetime access to six music masterclasses (worth $150).

1. Solo performers under the age of 16 (born in or after 2006)
Total cash prizes: $1000
2. Solo performers under the age of 21 (born in or between 2001-2005)
Total cash prizes: $2000
3. Solo performers over the age of 21 (born in or before 2000)
Total cash prizes: $3000
4. Small ensembles (fewer than 9 performers)
Total cash prizes: $3000
5. Large ensembles/orchestras/choirs (more than 9 performers)
Total cash prizes: $4000
6. Composers under the age of 21 (born in or after 2001)
Total cash prizes: $2000
7. Composers over the age of 21 (born in or before 2000)
Total cash prizes: $3000
8. Electronic compositions or multidisciplinary works

9. Film/video game/animation music

10. Arrangements of pre-existing works

11. Improvisation (any genre and instrumentation)

All winners receive Petrichor Premium Promotion Package (PPPP) including press/media exposure + online recital + feature on Petrichor website + official certificate.
Participation will be conducted entirely online, and the musicians will be asked to submit either video, score or audio of their work.
Jury Panel
The applications will be reviewed by a jury panel consisting of world-renowned musicians from The Juilliard School, Berklee College of Music, Eastman School of Music, and Mannes School of Music.
