Late summer in Malibu, California offered the perfect backdrop for social connection: The Malibu Mixer, that went down on August 30, 2025.

From the event’s name alone, you could expect an elevated take on social gatherings – and it delivered. The Malibu Mixer celebrated music, fashion, food, and culture, hosted by @fatellofficial, @freenzebroadcasting, and @chicanohollywood. The event featured electrifying sounds from DJs, performers like Ray J, and appearances by other celebrities such as featured guests Brian Hooks, Mckenzie Brook, Roscoe from DPG, The Medicine Girl Caroline Rodriguez, STV, and others.

This Malibu experience was more exclusive than your average weekend party. The experience gathered a mix of local tastemakers, curious visitors, and creatives – all converging to forge genuine connections without the chaotic buzz of larger festivals. The result? A gathering small enough to feel intimate, yet energetic enough to crackle with spontaneous conversation and laughs.

Frenzee Broadcasting, in collaboration with Chicano Hollywood, plays a key role in the Malibu Mixer by providing media coverage and promoting the event with Fatell as the CEO. Their involvement includes honoring individuals with awards, such as the “Living Legend Award,” as well as capturing event content.  They use their various social media platforms, including YouTube and Instagram, to share video clips and interviews from the event with a wider audience, featuring a range of artists and personalities. Living Legend Awards were also for The D.O.C. , E.D.I Mean Of 2Pac’s group, The Outlawz, & The Original Mary Jane Girl (Maxi B).

The mix of ocean, elegance, and ease created moments hovering between dream and reality. Guests could stand, sit on luxury sectionals, go view the beautiful Malibu ocean below, discuss art, fashion, adventures, or even aspirations. The flow was exactly how it should be for the event of the year.

The Malibu mixer was also packed with incredible networking opportunities, serving cocktails, cannabis, multiple options for food, all while keeping hands busy and smiles lit.
