LA-based singer, producer, and multimedia artist Beverly Hell returns with new single ‘Ghost (Haunting Me)’

‘Ghost (Haunting Me)’ is available now on your streaming service of choice via APOLLO Distribution. 

Ghostly vocals blend with drum and bass informed production to reveal a sharp and observational perspective on a dishonest lover’s behavior, and the persistent use of rhetorical; ‘would it’s’ and ‘did you’s’ demonstrates a spiral into despair as she overthinks every aspect of her relationship. 

Her hushed vocals make each line feel forbidden and undiscovered, as though she is whispering her most personal thoughts into the ether, while the heavy electronic production beneath them seems determined to ensure those thoughts are heard. 

The electronic backdrop gives her endless questioning an almost inescapable presence, much like the memories that continuously haunt her. 

“The way people tell everything they try to hide in every movement, action, and idiosyncrasy, and how they linger in the silence long after their absence. We will all be seen even as we try to escape the witness” says Beverly Hell.

Beverly Hell is a songwriter, producer, and multimedia artist based between London and her hometown Los Angeles. Inspired by mythos, she uses her music to build a universe of its own comprised of synthetic sonic textures, raw vocals, and recurring imagery and motifs. 

With an eclectic musical background ranging from being a classically trained cellist to contributing writing for songs by The Toxhards, Hell is one of a kind. Her music sits within an untouched place on the sonic spectrum, somewhere between artists like Imogen Heap and Postal Service, while maintaining a distinct identity of its own. 

Beverly recently released her debut EP ‘Alice In Underland’ this May, with much inspiration being taken from the literary work by C.S Lewis to create a sonic universe of which listeners could get lost in forever.
