Weeks before embarking on her upcoming tour with British pop trio Years & Years rising artist CYN has released her latest single “I’ll Still Have Me”, paired with a touching and heartfelt music video directed by Ben Richardson.
In the video to “I’ll Still Have Me” there are emotional clips of the seniors reminiscing on their first loves as CYN performs on stage in the dance hall of a community center filled with seniors.
“After realizing a break up was imminent, I wrote this song to convince myself that everything would be fine. Focusing on who I am and where I’m headed made me feel less empty and more like I would make it through this heartbreak— finding sanctuary in myself was my safest bet and sturdiest lean upon.”
“I’ll Still Have Me” follows previous single “Believer” which was featured on the Heard Well’s compilation album Pride, the proceeds from album sales go to the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN), who work to ensure that global school environments are safe, productive spaces for LGBTQ youth. “I’ll Still Have Me” is available worldwide today.
With a debut EP in the works and SOLD OUT tours in the US and Central America, now is the perfect time to catch CYN in action on the road with Years & Years this fall. The Palo Santo Tour kicks off October 5, to see when the rising starlet with be in a town near you check tour dates listed below:
