Lord Huron is the Next Addition To Your Indie Folk Playlist
Based out of Los Angeles, Lord Huron has taken the indie folk scene by storm.
What began in 2010 with the recording of three songs, quickly transformed into something that would gain rapid recognition, leading the band to tours across scorching deserts, ice-capped landscapes, and wild forests.
In 2011, they appeared at larger festivals like SXSW and Lollapalooza. After what seemed to be an unstoppable success, they signed with IAMSOUND Records in 2012. Their first full-length album sold over 3,000 copies during the first week of its release, and by April of 2015 had reached to 87,000 copies in the U.S. alone.
After more touring and a well-received second album, Lord Huron’s 2014 western-themed Strange Trails hit NO. 10 on the Top Album sales chart, selling over 18,000 copies.
Lord Huron continues to show tremendous promise with their steady rise to fame, finishing up the year 2016 with a fine stream of concerts. Their most recent performance was last January in Los Angeles, California.
