For this photoshoot, the model and photographer wanted to express the beauty of her Filipino heritage in contrast with her culture’s fashion. There has been a negative stigma affiliated with the Filipino culture in media. They wanted to show a positive light to the beauty of the Philippines and their people. This series will be of many highlighting the beauty of different cultures.
