Blake Rose is a twenty-year-old pop songwriter and artist originally from Perth, Australia who emerged at the end of 2018 with his debut single, “Hotel Room.”
It was a powerful debut, landing numerous Spotify playlist and over 400K streams – no small feat for a brand new artist. The song explores the feeling of being cheated in a relationship; an intimate contemplation of anger and frustration with a catchy hook.
Blake first began learning music on a didgeridoo at the age of five. In his teen years, he started playing guitar, singing and even teaching himself the fundamentals of production. Blake started busking in order to make some money and eventually saved up enough to fly out to LA. Now settled in the city of dreams, Blake has recently signed a publishing deal with Kobalt and is ready to establish himself as the fresh pop-songwriter that he is.
