Airline Industry Issues to affect summer vacation travel

With the International Air Transport Associations reducing its 2018 profit forecast by 12% due to rising fuel costs, internal issues in the airline industry.

This includes a shortage of pilots, rising labor costs, and airports hitting capacity – may cause travelers’ experiences at the airports this summer to be compromised.

Henrik Zillmer, CEO of AirHelp, the world’s leading flight compensation company, anticipates widespread travel disruptions this summer, and believes this spike in travel, or “over tourism”, and rising ticket prices will cause nightmares for travelers at the fault of the airlines.
