    4 Buzzin Female Performances At Rolling Loud California 2023

    Rolling Loud California shook fans to their core with numerous fiery sets.

    The world’s largest hip-hop festival came back with another fire lineup, featuring headlining artists Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, and Future, with special guest Lil Wayne. Among these four billboard-charting artists are a plethora of talented individuals, including numerous talented female rappers. As exhilarating acts took place, fans erupted in euphoric hollers, mimicking lyrics with every song played. So far, each Rolling Loud festival has proven to be a life-changing experience for numerous hip-hop fanatics across the globe.

    Taking place from March 3-5, this past weekend’s festival featured up to 45 artists per day, with additional surprise guests. This year, the California edition of the festival was held at Hollywood Park Grounds in Inglewood, California. Over 100 acts performed in total, with many of the weekend’s highlights involving pure, raw female power. With the amount of breathtaking talent performing, it was hard for fans to capture all of the astonishing sets of the weekend. So, in honor of International Women’s Day, we put together a few spectacular female artists whose performances shook fans to their core.

    Here are 4 female artists whose sets lit up festival grounds:

    1. Saweetie

    Born and raised in Santa Clara, California, the American Rapper Saweetie is known for invigorating singles with empowering flows. Her latest EP, THE SINGLE LIFE, features a mix of unforgettable beats. Two tracks on the EP, P.U.S.S.Y (Powerful, Utopia, Supreme, Sacred, Yummy)  and BO$$ CHICK specifically seek to uplift women, praising elements that make women superior. The moment she appeared on stage, shrieks of pure excitement flooded the festival grounds. Fans were left in a trance by the time her set wrapped up on Friday. Performing major hits paired with the empowering singles off of her new EP, Saweetie exceeded the expectations of numerous fans last weekend.

    2.Coi Leray

    Singer and rapper, Coi Lerayhas been making massive waves in the music industry for several years. Rising from Boston, Massachusetts, the hit singer is spiraling upward to become one of the best rappers of all time. Her explosive entrance into 2023 with hit single, Players, only solidified the need to see her perform at this past weekend’s hip hop fest. The song has run up over 100 million streams on Spotify, making it her biggest solo single yet. Releasing other hits like No More Parties, Blick Blick, and Wasted, she set the stage on fire with her hard-hitting flows. Her performance on Sunday was truly a once-in-a-lifetime set.

    3. BIA

    Hailing from Medford, Massachusetts, rapper BIA is topping the charts with each and every single she drops.  Starting the year off right, she released her latest single, SIXTEEN, speaking on her past in one of the most empowering ways possible. She is known to be one of the greatest rappers of our time, accumulating a massive fan base over the years. With hit tracks like WHOLE LOTTA MONEY, BEST ON EARTH, and LONDON, fans prepared for an astounding performance on Saturday and that is exactly what she delivered. Her intoxicating sound only left listener’s ears wanting more after her set came to a close.

    4. Ice Spice

    Ascending from the Bronx, New York, rapper Ice Spice has been on the radar of nearly every hip-hop enthusiast. Since the release of Munch (Feelin’ U)  in August of 2022, Ice Spice has been skyrocketing to exceptional heights within the music realm. When it came time for her to perform this past weekend, fans were practically leaping over one another to get an inch or two closer to the stage. Not only did she play all of her biggest hits but even debuted Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2 live on Sunday. Ice Spice’s performance was so spectacular that a fan tried to rush past security, with hopes of coming face-to-face with the rapper.
