The Best Social Media Posts From Athletes In 2021

Social media has given us the ability to get closer to our favorite athletes than ever before.

We are sure you have some favorite sportsmen and women that you follow on the likes of Twitter and Instagram.

Some of the world’s biggest athlete influencers span all sports. From Anthony Joshua to Cristiano Ronaldo, you have the true G.O.A.T.s of the sporting world making their voices heard on social media! With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the best social media posts from athletes around the world:

    Lewis Hamilton

I’m so grateful for all the work this team has put into this car. It’s down to each and every team member and all those back at the factory to see that both of these #W12’s go out and deliver each race weekend. Honored to be a part of this team #WeWinAndLoseTogether

    Cooper Webb

2-Time! P1 on the night and the perfect ending to capture my second 450SX title

    Conor McGregor

Usman even copying my shots now. Am I to fight this guy at some stage? I think so. Can’t be copying my words and my shots and not get a smack for it. I like 170. It’s mine soon.

    Stephen Curry

Special day. In 1975 Lee Elder broke the color barrier at The Masters, this morning he joins as an honorary starter. As Lee says, you gotta “stay the course” and we all gotta stay the course to continue what Lee started with expanding access to the sport. Congrats to this legend.

    Anthony Joshua

    “Spartan.”

    I’m tired.

    My fans are tired.

    Your fans are tired.

We’re all tired of the talk.

    Less talk. More action!

    Tom Brady

I would love to see Richard Seymour inducted into NFL HOF. Not only was he a dominant player but a team-first, selfless player who played championship fb each & every wk. He was a cornerstone of the Patriots dynasty & deserves to be recognized for his contributions to fb history

    Katie Taylor

18-0! Thanking God for a hard-fought victory. Thank you all for the support!

    Lando Norris

Drive to Survive Season 3 is out tomorrow on @netflix… while driving is my focus & priority, my acting career finally kicks off. If I’m in it that is.

    Justin Thomas

One of my favorite memories of the @Zurich_Classic … @BudCauley and I were partners playing with partners @GaryWoodland & @DanielBerger59. On the scorecard, you have all 4 players’ names for the best ball, and you write down who made the score counting for the team….

I was highly amused thinking I would put @GaryWoodland’s score down instead of @DanielBerger59 if they tied the hole, no matter what (it would show GW’s score on the website). We got to 18, Gary had about a 15 footer or so, Berger a 6-8 footer. Berger was last to putt (bud and I…were outside of him). @DanielBerger59 was very frustrated by it and told us he would finish after his chip.. He went up and finished his putt before anybody else did so Gary wouldn’t putt and I wouldn’t have an option but to put his score down for the team that hole…..I think I still put Gary’s score down. Nice playing that day @GaryWoodland!!!!

First and foremost I send Love, Strength, Hope, and Peace to ALL those people caught in the conflict in the Middle East.

I stand with the people. I represent and embrace all cultures in this world – always have.

I pray for peaceful resolution #UNITY

    Kevin Durant

I don’t remember this but the story was nice so ima go with it. Replying to…@Rishaw_Johnson. I was courtside in Nola and I told KD I paid too much money for him to be chilling. He looked at me and said this is not a video game. Then he hit the next 2 3’s. I told him that’s that video game stuff I want to see lol

    Roger Federer

Hi everyone! Happy to let you know that I will play Geneva and Paris. Until then I will use the time to train. Can’t wait to play in Switzerland again.

    Harry Kane

On Jose Mourinho…Thank you for everything Boss. A pleasure to have worked together. I wish you all the best for your next chapter.

    Roman Reigns

Trained, abused, and calloused.  These are the hands that were built to end Daniel Bryan’s career.

Meghan Markle, my selfless friend, lives her life – and leads by example – with empathy and compassion.

She teaches me every day what it means to be truly noble. Her words illustrate the pain and cruelty she’s experienced. I know firsthand the sexism and racism institutions and the media use to vilify women and people of color to minimize us, to break us down, and demonize us.

We must recognize our obligation to decry malicious, unfounded gossip and tabloid journalism. The mental health consequences of systemic oppression and victimization are devastating, isolating, and all too often lethal.

I want Meghan’s daughter, my daughter, and your daughter to live in a society that is driven by respect. Keep in your memory the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against no such things, there is no law.

    Drew Brees

I can’t think of 3 better days coming up consecutively, starting tomorrow…May the 4th be with you, Cinco De Mayo, and National Day of Prayer (May 6)! Man this is gonna be a great week!!

    Paul Pogba

I’m turning 28! and I am happy that me, my family and my friends are safe and fortunate to see another year!

This year I chose Seed Charity. The best present you can give is a little something to help this cause. We are grateful for any donation!

So there you have it: some of the top tweets from sportsmen and women this year. Do you have any favorite athletes to follow on social media?
