Spring is finally here and not-for-profit Road Scholar is enrolling a record number of participants in its learning adventures to many of France’s most fascinating and historic destinations, including Normandy, Provence, and of course the City of Light, Paris.

The country is a favorite destination for Road Scholars who are eager to learn about its history, culture, and culinary delights.

France is so popular that the organization named it its Campus of the Year for 2019, creating new programs and resources for its participants.

What makes Road Scholar learning adventures in France so compelling? It’s the knowledgeable lecturers and group leaders, access not available to the everyday traveler, and unique, one-of-a-kind learning experiences.

“Participants enroll in Road Scholar learning adventures because they are interested in engaging with some of the world’s best lecturers and experts, and are seeking an unparalleled learning experience,” said James Moses, President, and CEO of Road Scholar.

“France has always been one of our most popular European destinations; and with France designated Campus of the Year, we have added even more opportunities for our participants to gain a deeper knowledge of the culture, history, architecture and of course, the cuisine of France.”
