Disco Donnie Presents And Riot Ten To Host Food Bank Benefit On July 26 At Spire
Riot Ten, Disco Donnie Presents, Spire and Trillvo have partnered with The Houston Food bank on a Canned Food Drive to benefit the greater city of Houston, TX.
Since its founding, Disco Donnie Presents has sought to help the local community and has embraced the rule, “it’s better to give, than receive.”
To encourage people to participate, Houston Food Bank offers the first 20 fans with three needed canned items $5 off admission, and a chance to win a meet & greet with Riot Ten, an American DJ and producer from El Paso, Texas.
All other fans with three needed canned items will save $5 off admission.
Needed items include nutritious, nonperishable foods, such as canned green vegetables (green beans, spinach, collard greens), canned tomatoes or canned beans, all with no salt added. Canned fishes and meats, such as tuna, salmon, chicken and sardines; or canned fruits in water or juice, are also welcomed. Finally, whole grain pasta, quinoa and brown rice, as well as salt-free seasonings, are also also needed.
For the safety of those Houston Food Bank’s serve, they are unable to accept open packages, homemade food, perishable food, baby food, or items with “expired” dates.
