Antonio Breez Returns With New R&B Single: Cause N Cure

Just a few months after the success of his acclaimed single ‘Cause N Cure’, Boston rapper, singer, and songwriter Antonio Breez is gearing up to release his 5th and 6th albums this year — one Rap, and one R&B.

Now based in Los Angeles, the witty Boston lyricist and smooth vocalist is excited to begin his 2023 rollout with the hit R&B single titled ‘Cause N Cure’, along with its warm-toned mini-visualizer to accompany it. Written by Antonio Breez and produced by multi-platinum record producer Benjii Yang, who has produced for Moneybagg Yo, Dani Leigh, Tone Stith, and more; ‘Cause N Cure’ is a smooth and captivating offering, held together by Breez’s hypnotizing hook and creative melodies.

The record also features a guest verse from Brooklyn, New York’s young upcomer Flexie Ray. The track sees the LA-based Boston native singing and telling a special lady that he is addicted to her love and that she is both the cause and cure; paying homage to SWV’s legendary track ‘weak’ . Speaking on the inspiration of ‘Cause N Cure’, Breez explains,

“When Flexie sent me the beat i just sat with it and thought about being in love, which I actually was at the time too. It was easy to put into words how I felt and turn it into a hook. That was probably the easiest hook I ever wrote!”

Championed by All Hip Hop, MTV, Genius, BET, VH1, HipHopDX, and Hot 97, among others, Antonio Breez burst onto the hip-hop and rap landscape with his seminal debut album The Convocation Of Antonio Breez, and followed it up with his classic Migration Narrative and Migration Narrative 2 projects, before 2020’s breakout album Views & Likes that perfectly captured his newly crafted hip-hop and R&B fusion sound. ‘Cause N Cure’ is the next step on Breez’s trajectory to the world by storm in 2023.
