Nurko Recruits Neriah For Soaring New Single: Love Is A Highway
New York producer NURKO joins forces with NERIAH for the epic new single “Love Is A Highway,” out today via Astralwerks.
The dense, melodic odyssey arrives just as the hitmaker announces the imminent arrival of his hotly anticipated Discovery EP. The project, which includes recent singles “Save Me (From Myself),” “Too Long,” and “Eternity,” is his first since signing with the legendary electronic music label in 2022. Pre-save HERE.
“Love Is a Highway” unfolds slowly, seemingly taking listeners through the stages of a relationship. “‘I want you here,’ that’s what you say at night when you get close to me,” NERIAH sings over gentle guitar and a lulling beat. “You’re acting like you’re good for me so suddenly, I don’t know what I did to change your mind.” The entire production all but halts at the chorus, where she sings over minimal keys: “Guess my love is a highway, going too fast for you.” What follows is a drop for the ages with cascading synths and crashing beats.
The emotional anthem follows quickly on the feels of the Kyle Hum-assisted “Save Me (From Myself),” “Too Long” featuring Cruel Youth, and “Eternity” voiced by Dayce Williams—all of which will be included on NURKO’s forthcoming Discovery EP.
