3 Amazing Brand Activations Featured At Outside Lands
Outside Lands featured an array of exciting brands at their various stands and marketplaces last week in San Francisco.
From jewelry to restaurants to gin, many of these brands’ high-quality products highlight underrepresented communities and donate to worthy causes.
Check out this list of three incredible brands making the world a better place:
1. Gray Whale Gin
Festival goers lined up at Gray Whale Gin to try their tastebuds at the premium small-batch gin, distilled from Californian botanicals foraged along the migratory path of the Gray Whale. A great-tasting cocktail soon turned into a deep dive into the Gray Whale’s journey and living life mindful of the importance of ocean conservation. Through the #OceanLoveTour hosted by founders Jan and Marsh, guests were able to experience a sensorial and photo-worthy take of the Gray Whale and the waters in which it swam — leaving us perfectly refreshed in the midst of Day 2’s festival heat.
2. Quill Fine Jewelry
This year’s lineup of artists, designers, and craftspeople was the most diverse yet, with 50% BIPOC representation. A brand worth remembering from the marketplace is Quill Fine Jewelry, dedicating a percentage of its sales to the Save The Children Foundation. They offered jewelry in gold-filled, gold vermeil, and 925 sterling silver. And for those with sensitive skin, no worries — all are hypoallergenic.
3. Abacá Restaurant
The first day of the festival kicked off with the Taste of Bay Area. Some of the Bay Area’s most exciting restaurants popped up, including one of our favorites – Abacá Restaurant, a contemporary Filipino-Californian restaurant, showcasing the beauty and vibrance of Filipino culture and cuisine. Family-owned and operated, The Fox Magazine got a personal taste of homemade family recipes and flavors of North America’s best ingredients (10/10 recommend)!
