Hollow Graves: Marriott

Hollow Graves explores communication, relationships, and struggle in their new song, “Marriott.”

Earlier in the pandemic, Hollow Graves’ lead singer and his girlfriend found themselves living in a hotel after a flood-from-above destroyed their fifth-story apartment in downtown Toronto. Being secluded in the hotel for two months led them to contemplate their relationship, which is reflected in our new song, “Marriott.”

This song leans into the garage side of the band’s music, with a fresh element that lends itself to communicating the mental struggle at the heart of the lyrics.
