Introducing Cameron’s Seafood, A Maryland Seafood Empire

Introducing Cameron’s Seafood, A Maryland Seafood Empire

In 1985, Cameron’s Seafood Market was born.

Today, Cameron’s Seafood sells a wide variety of fresh fish, which you can get raw, fried, or broiled. Or you can get takeout fresh seafood sandwiches, fried seafood platters with french fries and coleslaw or broiled fish platters with cajun rice and fresh vegetables. The best sellers, however are Maryland Blue Crabs, Maryland Crab Cakes, and spiced shrimp.

Iranians are known to prepare massive quantities of food and share it with the entire neighborhood until there is just enough left to feed themselves. True to their Persian heritage, their mission was not only to sell seafood but also to prepare and serve it to their customers at an affordable price so that everyone could enjoy delicious seafood.

While working on one of the food trucks in Hagerstown, MD, co-founder Pey Manesh learned he had customers driving 6 hours to pick up genuine Maryland Blue Crabs from the Chesapeake Bay.

FACT: Maryland Crabs from the Chesapeake Bay are special because our climate stays colder that other East Cost areas. The Blue Crabs here hide under the mud during the cold months which forms a layer of fat on their meat that gives them a sweat, buttery flavor and that’s why they are famous!

The next era of Cameron’s Seafood has begun with the introduction of their new logo and website and the launch of their online store. The seafood empire is looking mighty tasty for Cameron’s Seafood.
